Not only are these prawn dumplings simply delish, but it makes for a fabulous dumpling-making party activity for the whole family!
|1 Ear of corn, shucked, kernels cut off the cob, or vegetable or your choice|
|300g Prawns (shelled and deveined)|
|1 Stalk Spring Onion (chopped)|
|2 Tsp Minced Fresh Garlic|
|2 Tsp Minced Fresh Ginger|
|1 Tsp Salt|
|20g Small Round Gyoza Wrappers|
|Soy Sauce for dipping|
- Cut the kernels off the cob. Peel the shell and devein the prawns and mince.
- In a medium bowl, mix the corn kernels with the prawns, garlic, ginger, green onions and season with salt.
- Add 1 tablespoon of the filling in the gyoza wrapper, brush the edges with water, fold one side of the wrapper over to form a half-moon, pressing the edges together to seal.
- In a steamer basket, steam the dumplings over simmering water until cooked through, 5 minutes. Alternately, boil the dumplings for about 3 minutes.
- Serve with soy sauce.
