Pasta la vista, baby! Here’s a no-fuss one-pot pasta recipe, to save you time from washing up and using too much soap or water. We’ve used Penne pasta but you can replace it with any other pasta that you might have in your kitchen.

Ingredients
2 L Water | |
200g Penne Rigate (or any pasta you have) | |
2 Tbsp Cooking Oil | |
1 Tbsp Chilli Paste | |
1 Red Onion (chopped) | |
2 Garlic Cloves (chopped) | |
2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce | |
2 Tbsp Tomato Sauce | |
1 Tbsp Chilli Sauce | |
100g Mixed Vegetable | |
2 Tbsp Sweet Soya Sauce | |
1 Tbsp Dark Soy Sauce | |
1/2 Tsp Salt | |
1/2 Tsp Sugar | |
1 Big Tomato | |
1 Spring Onion |
Instructions
- Bring 2 liters of water to a boil in a pot, add the pasta and cook for 11 mins (or according to package instructions). Drain and set aside.
- In a large frying pan add the cooking oil, chilli paste, onion, garlic and fry until fragrant.
- Add the oyster sauce, tomato sauce, chilli sauce and stir well for 1 min. Then add the mixed vegetables, sweet soya sauce, dark soya sauce and stir again.
- Add the cooked pasta and mix well, then add the chopped tomato. Season with salt and sugar & garnish with chopped Spring Onion.
