Maggi Goreng Mamak
This simple yet delicious meal is quick & easy to whip up, especially so those nights u wake up late for sahur, or just miss your local mamak 😅 This dish of course can be easily adapted by adding more veges or a different protein to your liking

Ingredients
2 pkt Maggi Curry (boiled) | |
1 pkt Maggi Curry seasoning | |
3 tbsp Cooking Oil | |
1 Medium Onion (sliced) | |
3 cloves Garlic (chopped) | |
2 Eggs | |
⅓ Carrot (julienne) | |
50g Cabbage (chopped) | |
80g Mustard Greens / Sawi (chopped) Mustard Green Stems (chopped) | |
3 pcs Fried Tofu (sliced) | |
6 pcs Fresh Prawns (boiled) | |
1 tbsp Spicy Soy Sauce | |
1 Cili Padi (pounded) | |
1 Red Chilli (sliced) |
Instructions
- In a pot, boil Maggi mee noodles for 2 minutes. Drain & set aside
- In a pan, heat up cooking oil & fry the onions and garlic until they become fragrant & translucent, then add in the eggs and fry for 1 minute
- Add the carrots, cabbage and mustard green stems and cook well for 5 minutes
- Next add prawns & mustard green leaves. Once all ingredients are well combined add the Maggi noodles, soy sauce & Maggi curry seasoning & chilli padi.
- Cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with sliced chillies & serve
