Ingredients
350 g Chicken Strips | |
Sesame seeds | |
Marinade: | |
½ tsp Salt | |
½ tsp Sugar | |
½ tsp White Pepper | |
1 tbsp Lemon Juice | |
1 tbsp cornstarch | |
Sauce: | |
1 tbsp Lemon Juice | |
3 tbsp Honey | |
1 tbsp cornstarch | |
Batter: | |
½ cup All-Purpose Flour | |
½ tsp salt | |
½ tsp white pepper | |
1 Egg |
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients of Marinade with the chicken and leave for 10 mins.
- Mix the batter in a large bowl, whisk the egg and then add the rest of the ingredients and mix til smooth. Put the chicken strips into the batter, and mix well until all coated.
- Heat up oil wok on medium heat. Fry the battered chicken, making spread they're spread out to prevent sticking togeth, until they're golden brown. Remove from wok and put on paper towels.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, pour in the lemon juice, honey and cornstarch and gently whisk until there are no lumps. Then add the fried chicken strip and toss well.
- Finally sprinkle some sesame seeds to serve.
