Fried Bitter Gourd

Ingredients

 3 tbsp Rice flour
 1½ tsp Turmeric
 2 tsp Garam Masala
 3 tsp Curry Powder
 3 tbsp Besan Flour (Gram Dhall)
 2 (Large) Bitter Gourd
 2 tsp Salt
 1 Lemon
 4-5 cups Cooking Oil

Instructions

  1. Cut the bitter gourd in thin slices and put into a large mixing bowl
  2. Add the Dhall flour, rice flour, curry powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt and lemon juice and mix well
  3. Add the cooking oil to the wok and heat up, then slowly put the battered bitter gourd into the wok and fry until they are crispy.
  4. Remove from the wok and then drain on some kitchen paper before serving.
