Ingredients
300g Durian Flesh | |
1 cup Whipping Creme (Crepe) | |
50g Plain Flour | |
1 Tbsp Custard Powder | |
30g Castor Sugar | |
1 drop Yellow Food Colouring (optional) | |
30g Butter (melted) | |
40g Fresh Milk | |
160ml Water | |
1 Egg (lightly beaten) |
Instructions
- Durian Filling:
- De-seed the durian and set aside the durian flesh.
- Put whipping cream in a bowl and whisk until you get soft peaks.
- Add durian flesh and fold in gently.
- Set aside and chill for 30 minutes.
- Crepe:
- In a new bowl, sieve plain flour & custard powder, then add the castor sugar and mix well.
- Add 1 drop of yellow coloring (optional), melted butter, milk, water, beaten eggs, and mix well.
- Pour a ladle of batter into a non-stick pan on low heat, lift the pan slightly to cover it fully with the batter.
- Cook until it bubbles and is no longer liquid, and gently remove from the pan.
- Allow the crepe to cool & add durian cream mixture.
