1 cup Green Beans (pre-soaked for 1 hr)
1L Water
1/2 cup Sugar
100g Gula Melaka
200ml Coconut milk
2 Pandan leaves


  1. Pre-soak the beans in water for 1hr.
  2. Drain the beans then boil them in a pot of clean water for about 30 minutes,until they soften (add water if it becomes too dry)
  3. Add the Gula Melaka, sugar & knotted pandan leaves into the pot and stir until the sugar has melted.
  4. Then add the coconut milk, stir again and cook for another 10 minutes.
