Ingredients
1 whole chicken (quartered) | |
5 clove Garlic (pounded) | |
1 inch Ginger (pounded) | |
5 tbsp Mahsuri Black Pepper Sauce | |
1 ½ tbsp Honey | |
1 ½ tbsp Salt | |
50g Butter | |
1 tbsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper (optional for garnish) |
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix garlic, ginger, black pepper, Mahsuri Black Pepper Sauce honey & salt
- In a pan, coat the chicken evenly with the marinade. Set aside for at least 2 hours
- Preheat the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes at least before putting in the chicken
- Roast chicken for 45mins - top & bottom heat mode
- When chicken is half cooked (about 20 minutes), take out & baste with butter & continue cooking for another 20 minutes
- Take the chicken out & let it rest before serving
NB: Best to cover with foil to avoid burning skin when putting in the second round of cooking.
