 1 whole chicken (quartered)
 5 clove Garlic (pounded)
 1 inch Ginger (pounded)
 5 tbsp Mahsuri Black Pepper Sauce
 1 ½ tbsp Honey
 1 ½ tbsp Salt
 50g Butter
 1 tbsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper (optional for garnish)


  1. In a bowl, mix garlic, ginger, black pepper, Mahsuri Black Pepper Sauce honey & salt
  2. In a pan, coat the chicken evenly with the marinade. Set aside for at least 2 hours
  3. Preheat the oven at 200°C for 10 minutes at least before putting in the chicken
  4. Roast chicken for 45mins - top & bottom heat mode
  5. When chicken is half cooked (about 20 minutes), take out & baste with butter & continue cooking for another 20 minutes
  6. Take the chicken out & let it rest before serving

NB: Best to cover with foil to avoid burning skin when putting in the second round of cooking.
